dog mom,
city girl at heart,
travel obsessed
For as long as I can remember, photography has been my absolute passion, but since becoming a wife, and dog mom myself, I understand more than ever how important it is to have true, authentically you photos that you can cherish for a lifetime. There’s nothing that is more special to me than capturing the raw emotion of your love stories and turning that into a beautiful gallery that even your Pinterest boards would be proud of.
Since 2023, my team and I at FLP LLC have been focused on capturing all of life's milestones in a natural, earthy, classic & candid style. With us, you don't need to worry about things like how to pose -- all you need to do on your day is show up, smile, & relax! We'll take it from there.
I'm an Award-Winning, Published, PNW & AZ based Destination Wedding + Lifestyle Photographer as well as the owner of Focused On Life Photography LLC. Since creating FLP LLC, I've been fortunate enough to combine my passion for capturing life's beautiful, authentic moments with my love for travel and adventure by specializing in destination weddings and lifestyle photography.
For me, photography started in the stillness of a small Pacific Northwest town where, as an only child, imagination became one of my closest companions. I couldn’t draw more than stick figures or misshapen hearts, but I craved a way to express myself—so I picked up a camera. With nothing much to do, my friends and I would drive around and do makeshift photoshoots just to pass the time. I quickly became "that" friend—the one documenting literally everything. The one who always had a camera of some sort in hand.
Shortly after high school, I left Washington to pursue my undergraduate degree in the sunny Phoenix metro, and was opened up a whole new world—one filled with energy, ambition, and endless possibility. I discovered that while trees, rain and nature still grounds me, there’s something about the rhythm of a city and the sunshine that makes me feel most alive.
It was during my first year of college that I began to realize just how powerful photography really is. After losing my grandfather and both my childhood dogs, the photos I had taken—some posed, most not—suddenly became my most cherished possessions. That’s when it hit me: memories don’t wait, and they don’t last forever. But photos freeze these moments and let us hold on to the pieces that matter most.
Years later, planning my own wedding brought everything full circle. I remembered what it felt like to capture something real—something fleeting—and I fell in love with photography all over again. What began as a creative outlet has grown into the heart of my work: preserving love, emotion, and all the in-between moments that make your story beautifully and unmistakably yours.
